Nr. Reg. Com.: J40/2108/2013
Registered office: Prel. Ghencea 320G, Et. 2, Sector 6, Bucharest, Romania

Throughout these Terms & Conditions, "DACO", "we", "us", "our", or "the Company" refers to DACO RESOURCES GROUP SRL. "You", "your", "client", or "passenger" refers to the person making the booking and all persons on whose behalf the booking is made.

2. Services

DACO offers the following services through this Website (collectively, "Services"):

Private Tours

Customised guided tours across Romania, including day trips and multi-day itineraries. Tours include transportation, driver and/or guide services, and any entry fees or meals specifically stated in the tour description.

Airport Transfers

Pre-booked point-to-point transportation between airports, hotels, and other locations in Romania. Prices are per vehicle, not per passenger, unless otherwise stated.

Private Transfers

Point-to-point chauffeur-driven transportation for any route within Romania and selected cross-border destinations. Ideal for intercity travel, event transfers, and custom routes.

Rent a Car

Vehicle rental services with or without a driver. Rental terms, insurance requirements, mileage limits, and fuel policies are communicated at the time of booking and are binding upon confirmation.

Concierge Services

Personalised travel assistance, including restaurant reservations, event tickets, itinerary planning, and other bespoke travel-related services. Concierge services are tailored to each request and confirmed on a case-by-case basis.

DACO may provide Services directly using its own resources and personnel, or act as an intermediary by arranging services through carefully selected third-party providers and authorised partners. Where a Service is provided by a third-party partner, DACO acts as booking agent and facilitator, and the partner's own terms may also apply. You will be informed when a Service is provided by a partner.

3. Booking Process

3.1 How to Book

Bookings may be made through the contact forms on our Website, via email, by phone, or through WhatsApp. To make a booking, you must provide accurate and complete information, including:

  • Full name and contact details (email and phone number)
  • Number of passengers
  • Pick-up and drop-off locations (for transfers)
  • Dates, times, and any specific requirements
  • Any other information reasonably requested to provide the Service

3.2 Booking Confirmation

A booking is not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from us via email or WhatsApp. The confirmation will include the details of your booking, the total price, and any specific terms applicable to your Service.

It is your responsibility to check the confirmation carefully and inform us immediately if any details are incorrect. DACO is not responsible for errors that are not reported before the Service is provided.

4. Prices and Payment

4.1 Prices

All prices are quoted in the currency stated on your booking confirmation — typically EUR, RON, or another currency as agreed. Prices include VAT where applicable, unless otherwise stated. The price confirmed in your booking is binding, provided no changes are made to the booking details.

Prices do not include items not explicitly listed in the Service description — such as meals, drinks, entrance fees, tips, or personal expenses — unless specifically stated otherwise.

4.2 Payment Terms

Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking and confirmed in writing. Depending on the Service, we may require:

  • Full payment at the time of booking
  • A deposit to secure the booking, with the balance due before or on the day of the Service
  • Payment in instalments for multi-day or complex bookings, as agreed in writing

Accepted payment methods will be discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking. Your booking is only confirmed once payment or the agreed deposit has been received by us, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

5. Client Responsibilities

By making a booking, you agree to the following responsibilities:

1

Accurate Information

Provide complete and accurate information at the time of booking, including pick-up/drop-off addresses, flight numbers (for airport transfers), contact details, and the number of passengers.

2

Timeliness

Be ready at the agreed pick-up time and location. For airport pick-ups, you must be present at the designated meeting point at the agreed time. Failure to be present may result in the Service being treated as a no-show.

3

Travel Documents

Hold valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and any other documents required for your journey. DACO is not responsible for denied entry, missed flights, or any consequences resulting from inadequate documentation.

4

Conduct

Behave respectfully towards the driver, guide, and any other service providers. DACO reserves the right to terminate the Service without refund if a client behaves in a way that endangers safety, causes damage, or is abusive towards staff or partners.

5

Vehicle Capacity

Not exceed the stated passenger and luggage capacity of the vehicle. If your group or luggage exceeds the capacity communicated at booking, DACO may refuse service or charge an additional fee for an upgraded vehicle, subject to availability.

6. Changes, Cancellations, and No-Shows

6.1 Changes to Bookings

You may request changes to your booking by contacting us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. Changes are subject to availability and may result in a price adjustment. DACO is not obliged to accept a change request and may treat a significant change as a cancellation subject to the cancellation terms below.

6.2 Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel a booking, you must notify us in writing (email is sufficient). The cancellation policy applicable to your booking will be communicated at the time of booking and confirmed in writing. Cancellation terms may vary depending on the type of Service, advance notice given, and whether we have already incurred costs on your behalf.

Please refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy for further details.

6.3 Cancellation by DACO

DACO reserves the right to cancel a booking in the following circumstances:

  • Payment or deposit has not been received by the due date
  • You have provided materially inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control make it impossible or unsafe to provide the Service (see Section 10 — Force Majeure)

If DACO cancels a booking for reasons other than your breach of these Terms, we will offer you the choice of an alternative arrangement or a full refund of any amounts already paid.

6.4 No-Shows and Waiting Time

For transfer and chauffeur services, the driver will wait for a reasonable period as communicated at the time of booking. Typical waiting times are:

  • Airport pick-ups: up to 60 minutes from the flight's actual landing time (we monitor flight status where possible). After this period, the Service may be treated as a no-show.
  • All other pick-ups: up to 15 minutes from the agreed pick-up time. After this period, the Service may be treated as a no-show.

In the event of a no-show, no refund will be provided. If you realise you are delayed, you must contact us as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate you, but cannot guarantee the Service can be provided beyond the waiting period.

7. Third-Party Providers

DACO may arrange certain Services through third-party providers, including but not limited to:

  • Licensed transport operators and chauffeur services
  • Independent tour guides
  • Vehicle rental partners
  • Accommodation, restaurant, and activity providers
  • Other local service partners

Where a Service is provided by a third party, DACO acts as a booking agent, selecting partners with reasonable care and skill. The third-party provider is directly responsible for delivering the Service. While DACO facilitates the booking, the provider's own terms and conditions, insurance policies, and liability limitations may also apply.

DACO will inform you when a Service is to be provided by a third-party partner and will share the relevant provider details upon request. DACO is not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party providers, except to the extent that DACO failed to select the provider with reasonable care.

8. Limitation of Liability

DACO provides its Services with reasonable care and skill. However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

What We Are Liable For

DACO is liable for direct损失 caused by our own negligence or wilful misconduct in the performance of Services provided directly by us. We are also liable for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, and for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by Romanian law.

What We Are Not Liable For

DACO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including but not limited to: missed flights or connections, loss of income, loss of enjoyment, additional travel or accommodation costs, or any other loss not directly caused by our breach of these Terms.

Third-Party Services

Where DACO acts as an intermediary for third-party services, our liability is limited to the exercise of reasonable care in the selection of the provider. The third-party provider bears direct responsibility for the delivery of the Service.

Financial Cap

To the extent permitted by law, DACO's total liability arising out of or in connection with any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific booking.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so under Romanian law.

9. Force Majeure

DACO shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay arises from events beyond our reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to:

  • Acts of God, natural disasters, extreme weather conditions
  • War, civil unrest, terrorism, or threat of terrorism
  • Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies
  • Industrial action or strikes
  • Road closures, accidents, or traffic conditions that are unforeseeable and unavoidable
  • Government actions, regulations, or restrictions
  • Breakdown of the assigned vehicle that could not have been foreseen despite proper maintenance
  • Any other event beyond DACO's reasonable control

In the event of force majeure, DACO will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements or reschedule the Service. If this is not possible, DACO will refund any payments made, less any non-recoverable costs already incurred on your behalf. DACO shall have no further liability to you in respect of the cancelled Service.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website — including text, images, logos, graphics, photographs, and the "DACO" brand — is the property of DACO RESOURCES GROUP SRL or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this Website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms & Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Romanian law.

The courts of Bucharest, Romania, shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve any dispute amicably through direct communication. Please contact us at hello@romaniaprivatetravel.com to discuss any concerns.

12. Changes to These Terms

DACO reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Changes will apply to bookings made after the date of the update. The Terms in force at the time of your booking will apply to that booking. We recommend reviewing these Terms each time you make a booking.
